You have the recipe already.

Yeah, you start with it, but it requires rare Belladonna I think.

I wouldn't call them rare. You can get about 30 or more from across the bridge near the Rattay bathouse. There are plenty in the forest where you capture the 3 nightingales.

There is also a big patch of it right in the middle of Sasau and they are pretty common in forest gardens around the map. Each of these locations should get you around ninety of them.

Who would have thunk, if you know exactly where to find something, you can find it.

Of course, compare to almost any other herb except Mint, which you find thousands of literally everywhere. Remember folks, "Rarity" is a measure of relativity.

Well, yeah. So what you're saying is everything is rare until you find it.

well, then nothing is rare.

Because you should know you can find small amounts of the rarer plants on the merchants each time they refill their stock.

Every other day or so, go buy the 5(ish) belladonna, make a couple of savior snapps. It builds up fast if your not choking the schnapps down for every single fight.

I would actually consider "Rarity" as a measure of frequency assuming a uniform distribution.

Since herbs are not "everywhere", then the distribution then the overall herb distribution has to considered as limited to begin with.

I use "Unlimited Saving" mod so i've never actually brewed Schnapps - i never made it to Alchemy Bench before losing so much of my play time that i wanted to smack the developers upside the head for the Limited Save system.

A game that touts realism, and then grants you a free recipe - that you can't read - is an admission to a mistake. And making any potion *before* you can read is cheesy.

Edit: But using Unlimited Saves is cheesy too.

Actually the game isn't hard if you choose the dark side of the force.
-be criminal is basically easy mode. as you choke people and steal their stuff.
was very funny

-be horse archer kind of is the easy mode for fights, once you have horse and bow, you can start to be honest head hunter. Actually I did choose one city where guards do spawn and started to kill and loot them till 100.000 groshen, than got bored and started do quests.

Alchemy is a very epic skill by the way, as you can make very LOL potions.

the only thing is, I would really like to see how NPCs start to work on drugs^^

Dont know about you, but I learn to read asap in this game. And then immediately get alchemy to 12 for autobrewx3, then continue with the game.

Also, you can technically learn every recipe for free, if you truly want to cheese. Making the save potion available at the start, and making sure the herbalists are stocked with at least a few of the rarer herbs so that said potion is readily available to be made is because they didnt want you to use unlimited save mods.
