At your service my lady (sort of, by main quest advancement it can fail)
lets say I walked up to a NPC and it gave me a timed quest like "my friend is dyeing go find us a doctor". i go explore for a day or 2 come back and failed the quest.
Now if I did not start the quest by talking to that NPC, could i come back in a few days or a week and do the quest.
( quest timer starts when quest starts )
or
The quest will go away because he died with out ever giving the quest. / auto fail
(quest timer is based on world clock)
Thank you, so safest way would be do one quest at a time if possible, and try not to grab every quest you see right away like in most games?
-Next to Godliness (everything must be completed before next day's morning)
-Capon's Champion (you have to attend the next tourney)
-A rock and a hard place (after progressing with the objectives you'll find out the action takes place in 5 days at noon)
I added some additional comments concerning timers for some of the quoted quests, as well as added 1 more quest to this list.
Whenever I pick up a quest I usually google whether it's time sensitive or not. I don't like to do it, but if I'm going to fail the quest, I want to fail while actually working on it, not because a timer I didn't know about went off.
Are you a console player? lol
Also, there has been a number of reports that say you should do the main quest all that glisters ASAP and not do any side stuff. Also, keep a save before doing all quests and dont overwrite it until complete
I have used controller, kb&M, simple, not simple. It's a terrible mechanic that should never exist. Most people hate it you 2 are in the minority. Every other game on planet earth did lockpicking better than KCD
Telling people to "Get Gud" at a single player RPG is such a small ♥♥♥♥ thing to say
