It does seem quite logical and would be great to have this! but i like the way this man thinks. WHS we summon you! and yeah i agree i do hope its apart of the game as WHS has done a great job so far, and if modders got the tools to enhance that we would be at skies limit! I do hope WHS gives us modding tools, games are great without mods and all but it would be great to have a new few experiences or create your own. the game is by far a experience we wont get to have in a long time, its like the dying light of medieval games! parkour and zombies, geniuses.
Yeah it would, but i hope they do something good with Blacksmithing if they ever do come about to it. like add a small minigame to hit the hot flesh of the metal which acts like the grindstone.
Good one!
Whoa there smokey, its a game. not a simulator. no need to make insults towards these suggestions.
Id like this but Henry might have some PTSD of some sort. but id love to see this.
Yeah i agree with this, having a half burned town would be strange to live in
On the other hand, KCD is a story-driven RPG and it can't be too sandbox without ruining the immersion.
Pointing out a point is the way to go, no need for insults to peoples suggestions. But yeah this game needs to have some sort of immersion otherwise we will have another skyrim on our hands, but then again small details can fix immersive issues. smithing a sword in one month only really relies on the fact that in the age its set in they would have orders for swords pushing many hours into alot of work. meaning that a sword would take a few months but with just one to focus on would not take to long. a way you could fix the immersion when creating your sword could be done in a ton of ways, really cool ways! such as if you keep going at the forge you could suffer from stress or become tired and the more you push the more your sword becomes damaged maybe causing more stress, this meaning you would have to sleep or walk away from the forge for some time. this would make the effect of working hard on making a sword but also keeping it immersive. for the fishing could be a way to relieve stress? wood cutting to make charcoal for your forge otherwise you would have to buy bags. but all in all the game is realistic on the point that its a RPG. for its age its in it is quite more RPG rather than realism. but if we had a full realism game we would be stuck around for days doing the same thing like in farming simulator. farming simulator is slow, very slow. trust me haha. its one of my favourite series but one series that is the type to drive people away from the game for the time consumption.
but you have a point :)
Hahaha yeah i steer clear of carrying the joke, but i had a good laugh at this.
Nah, a single sword would take about a week, maybe less, of focused work IRL.
+1
The thing i like about modding, is the fact that you can keep the base game and not have all these features you dont want added from updates and such (updates that ruin the immersion or feel of the game) and then add what you would like to the game. lets just hope they give us those tools @kalashnjkov
The rest of the choice based plot and open world feel was just icing on the cake.
And then the game was released. With the crafting removed aside from alchemy.
I have yet to purchase the game, and I'm not sure I ever will.
