Is it no longer possible to duplicate Sir Radzig's sword?
I read somewhere that there was a way to duplicate Sir Radzig's sword so you could keep a copy for yourself (letting you further play up the Inigo Montoya parallels). It involved getting to the dream sequence in the prologue and then finding your house and putting it in the chest. When you woke up, it would be waiting for you back in Skalitz in the chest.

I tried to do this earlier, and when I strayed too far from where I was supposed to be, the screen blacked out and it activated the next cutscene, ending the dream sequence.

It's easy, just use same method like revived Aerith in FF7

So I did manage to maneuver around the trigger that ends the dream sequence and get into my house. However, I wasn't actually carrying Sir Radzig's sword, but a Robber's sword. So I guess that answers that.

Oo sorry, Im a bit slow. Like, you put the robbers sword in the chest and had 2 or you put in Radzig's and got a robbers sword?

What I'd heard was that during the dream sequence, you had Sir Radzig's sword but as a normal weapon and not a quest item. This allowed you to deposit it into the chest in Skalitz. However, once I made it to the chest, I did not have Sir Radzig's sword, but a Robber's sword (you can't open your inventory during the dream sequence, and the lighting makes it hard to see exactly what sword you're using, so there was no way to know it wasn't Sir Radzig's sword until you reach the chest). I could have put it in the chest, in which case I assume it would still be there when I came back later.

I can only assume that the devs changed it at some point so that you had a Robber's sword instead of Sir Radzig's sword to prevent exactly this exploit. Why they would do it that way instead of blocking you from reaching the chest, I don't know.
