Let's talk about the overweight horse riding patch
Ok, let me start by say i thought this game was actually great the way it was. Yes you got money somewhat quick but it really didn't help alot. The thing that really got me was you fixed the overweight Bethasda problem. Where you were on a mission that turned into 3 (some where timed so you had to complete it then and there) and you needed to move but couldn't let go of the sweet loot you just got, so you spent hours walking to get home like a child who missed the bus (having about as much fun too). I was VERY impressed that war horse found a way to punish players for going over weight without hurting the overall fun of the game. if you went a little overweight you couldn't fasttravel or jump, and if you went very overweight you wouldn't be able to fight until you fixed it but you could spend the time riding your horse home to drop off the stuff you couldn't let go. then the "patch" came. I couldn't help but be snapped out of my gaming joy by the game telling me i was too fat to ride my horse. in games like this i like to collect one of everything (I like to look stylish) but now that goal is not worth the time and effort i takes to do that. i'm not going to keep a detailed list of what i have and what i need so when half way thru a timed quest so i don't have to play no one's favorate game show "WHAT SHOULD I DROP". It slowed the game way down and just made it feel like you were just griding. I don't expect them to switch it back, ever. i know this is the way the developer wants me to play but i had way more fun before. oh well, no good thing.

i am fine with this limitation. actually, status with loot before felt like pure cheating. same with guards and stolen items. now guards will see stolen items in horse inventory too.
both decisions in my eyes are right.

started play new story for this patch and was at first surprised i suddenly can not hop on my stolen horse with 12 boars, 6 deers and dozens of rabbits in pockets. went a loooong walk. but then i got used to new situation. not stolen horse can carry 500+ weight, so not picking any trash anymore.

was caught off guard with stolen items dissapeared on horse too. was leveling citizens in rattay one night and lost all loot.(not reloading, so what i experience, i live with consequences, if caught, then jail and so on.).

in short - horse mounting weight limitation is right.
