In fact, I just had a moment where it sounded like it was pouring rain and the ground looked to be wet as you might expect, but there wasn't even rain, let alone clouds or anything.
Actual rain storms in the game do feature dark clouds, and mid-day can turn to night!
The rain is still being ordered, so you will see rain at building edges and lightning in the distance, but the bulk of the rain is not visible.
Helps a bit with graphics load also.

Sadly, there is no mod that can fix this. It would seem only the devs can...
But yeah, the rain on cloudless days is pretty weird. I mean, weird that they didn't fix it. Must have been a problem that popped up just before release and they didn't have time/money to address it.
And now "it's not a bug, it's a Feature"
Kinda feels like it, yeah. Lol !
But still, it would be great to see it fixed... A nice thunderstorm can be wonderful. A cloudless bright sun rain storm just feels glitched.
