How to permanently enable bow crosshair?
The console command only lasts the session. Any .ini I can edit so that it loads with the flipped bit?

What do you mean in main folder? Where the Data and bin folders are?

The order of execution is: system.cfg > mod.cfg > user.cfg
This means that user.cfg supersedes the other two.

Or instead of doing all that there is a mod that does this , download and install, done in 10 seconds.

No option for priorities for me. Only properties, and I dont see anything about changing launch options.

Doesn't even work for me.

Works here. Be sure to right-click and select the 'Properties...' (not Priorities) for KCD in Steam, not in windows, before adding '+exec user.cfg' to the 'SET LAUNCH OPTIONS...'.

As long as you saved the user.cfg file to the same location as the game's other cfg files, it should go smoothly.

Yeah that's how I have it :(

Is the cfg file really named 'user.cfg', or is it 'user.cfg.txt'? Does Windows explorer list it as a CFG File (.cfg), or a TXT File(.txt)?

It's called user and is a cfg file.
