Black Peter (spoilers)

So I won the tournament and ran into Black Peter on the road, how do you beat him? His poison always does me in. I assume I need to kill him before the poison does it's job so I can take the antidote. But I just can't kill him fast enough.

But to the OP: you should always have certain potions on you, antidote being one of them. I would recommend learning alchemy, but you can also just buy them.

The problem is you can't use the antidote during the fight, you have to wait until the fight is over.

Exactly. If you get poisoned, you better kill him fast. Otherwise, get really skilled at blocking his attacks. I am a sword and shield or mace and shield guy. This is a holdover from playing Everquest, where as a warrior there were times when you could go sword and board and tank just fine. Other times, you had to dual wield to keep aggro, though.

Black Peter problem is not that he cannot be killed quickly, but that he is a civilian. If you want zero statistics on civilians, you need to sneak up from behind, strangle him, remove a shield / sword / some kind of armor from him, then skip ~ 10 minutes and inflict one or two sword hits on him until bleeding. Then fight without weapons until the bleeding ends his life.

Otherwise, to skip the fight, use the strangle + finish off or a quick kill with a knife by Stealth Kill perk.

If you want to fight, then the easiest way, like in the arena, is to kill through a clinch. Any corner will do (barn, fence + house, etc.). Clinch + hit, clinch + hit ... In this case, the poison does not interfere at all, because Black Peter can't get out of the corner.

I know this is a bit of necroposting and the author doesn't need it anymore, but it might help someone.

You know where he is - you can head shot him with your bow, or sneak up behind him in the bushes and give him a triple heart bypass.

Don't attack him. Just block and master move. Then you never get hit

I got lucky and smacked him ocne over the head with a hammer, activated my perk and knocked him out and just killed him on the ground.

He used to be a knight, but then I made him take an arrow in the knee. Let him move on to Skyrim and poison them!
