Black Peter (spoilers)

So I won the tournament and ran into Black Peter on the road, how do you beat him? His poison always does me in. I assume I need to kill him before the poison does it's job so I can take the antidote. But I just can't kill him fast enough.

I was riding back to the mill at a gallop and there was a line strung across the road that catapulted me off my horse, Black Pete for revenge maybe since I beat him at the Rattay. WellI killed him with sword in the backyard of the Mill so may my strength and stats was maybe higher than yours. I waited to see if I commited a crime or was in trouble nothing.
Why is he using poison?
Make or buy some antidote potions for poison.

He wont appear at the Rattay again.
If i recall Black pete was linked to killing a boy that was part fo quest for a blacksmith who wanted to knwo how his son died.

Without the poison I don't think he would be much of a problem. But I always get poisoned eventually.

I had the same problem getting poisoned, on my third try i just shot him in the face with an arrow.

You learn how to pull off perfect blocks, so his sword never touches you.

With really high strength and sword abilities however he is pretty much a cake walk no matter what.

I'm kinda jealous, 2 times I fought him and both times he didn't manage to poison me. Was too ez and generic fight. And after I killed him his sword was still covered in poison

I went back and took him down, although he did poison me again. I got a really solid combo on him and he went down shortly after giving me time to heal.

But to the OP: you should always have certain potions on you, antidote being one of them. I would recommend learning alchemy, but you can also just buy them.

Well, if you aren't high enough, it's tough, because it isn't fair like the tournament was. I usually poison my blade before fighting him so, I get in a few counterstrikes, and usually he lays out pretty quickly. You have to block his attacks or you will be poisoned.

The problem is you can't use the antidote during the fight, you have to wait until the fight is over.
