Because Henry stole other dice, especially from the DLC and he kept all those.
But those specific to that mysertious silent gambler seem to be cursed and disappear from his inventory. And no, Henry is too charismatic to be searched by guards - they haven't been confiscated...
I lost a Lu and a Fer die then I lost 3 x Odd Dice, so it would seem all dice or all looted dice disappear.
If you are in the area of local taverns (I saw him at the Sassau Inn and in Uzhitz) and notice a slightly out of place townsman playing dice, try to pickpocket his dices and check when/if they disappear.
Briefly, in one turn AI had a score of almost 3000 with one die left, but rather than pass and bank that score, it rolled that one die and of course 'got lucky' yet again for another round. I lost over and over with that AI roller, no chance to win, barely a chance to touch my dice.
I almost find it sad that the game capped the money at silly 100 Groschen...
I can't really tell, while it felt like the odds were stacked against Henry in the beginning, once Henry was set up with 2 blue devil dice, two lucky dice and two lucky playing dice, including the ability based perk to throw dice better no one stood a chance and he won in one or two streaks.
Some dice have negative impact on Henry's numbers, maybe it's that.
Agree, I have thousands of groschen and nothing to do with it, LOL...
It's not my dice rolling that is the problem (and the bad dice are identified as such, no?). It seems to me some AI beat me in one or two turns, literally.
