Not data dir, but the main dir.

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods

Be warned - it seems most mods DO NOT WORK correctly with v 1.7.2 though.

Yes I tried this path as well C:\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods

But still no luck. Sometimes I will get a message stating that a mod was uninstalled so items will be removed.

I just don't get it. Both directory paths do not work for me.

Some mods require a User.cfg file placed in the main KC directory. Do any of your mods have a user.cfg inside them? If so, place the .cfg file in your main dir. If there are more than one, copy lines from the extras and add them to the one you use.

This would certainly prevent certain mods from working.

Might try opening here on Steam your game properties, and then General and Set Launcher Properties. Add this to it (without quotations) "+exec user.cfg" - be sure you havve a user.cfg file first though.

I'm baflfled otherwise. Sorry.

Check yours reps and the content
if it is a file.pack the file must be in
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods\mod_name\data

Mod structure

In the Mods folder each mod has its own subfolder, which replicates the game's directory structure, for example:

Mods\mod_name\mod.cfg
Mods\mod_name\mod.manifest
Mods\mod_name\Data\mod.pak
Mods\mod_name\Data\Levels\rataje\mod.pak
Mods\mod_name\Data\Levels\new_level_name_1\level.pak
Mods\mod_name\Data\Levels\new_level_name_2\level.pak
Mods\mod_name\Localization\english_xml.pak
Mods\mod_name\Localization\english.pak

Deep_Water_Henry
Easy Lockpicking

Instant_Herb_Picking

So for example one mod I have is this:

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods\Deep_Water_Henry

Inside Deep_Water_Henry folder is:

Data folder
Installation txt.
mod.manifest

Inside Data folder is:

Deep_Water_Henry.pak

be wary some mods can brake your save files and or interfere with your file eliminating items from your character and so on. Many mods abandoned by their creators plus like @n0mad23 said the lastest version of the game is not friendly with the mods.

If you are on nexus. Be advised that pretty much all of the mods are outdated for KingdomCome Deliverance. People just do not give enough of a ♥♥♥♥ to update their mods.
