"Dig a grave under the linden tree"?? I am at that point now, but I cannot interact with anything?
I have the shovel, and have walked up to the tree, and Henry said "this is a good place". However, the only things I can interact with is the nearby bench to sit on, or the several nettleweeds that I can collect.

How to proceed??

If the spade is in your inventory, you just need to move around with cursor pointed at ground a bit and you'll eventually see a tool tip on the lower part of the screen saying "E to dig" or some such.

Aww... The spot to start digging is not so close to either the tree or to where Henry made his remark, but a couple of meters to the left (if you face the tree). Solved ;)

This game is full of useless pointless things like this. Hard to find an frustrating. Would it really matter where one was buried? But you have to magically find the exact right spot. One of a thousand problems with this game which is LOVELY overall.

What a stupid comment on the game itself (vs. the intelligence of gamers), and I can't believe this is an actual 'problem' thread... Go and try to dig a deepish hole right underneath ANY tree and what will you hit? Roots which are freaking impossible to dig through. So yeah, dig some distance away from the trunk, QED

What worked for me was to locate an irregular patch of dirt between the houses' barrels and the linen tree.
