I think its really frustrating that you have only 2 options in the quest where you have to find the ginger and only solution is to get his location is by lying that you killed the 2 bandits or actually killing them. I want to play as good as possible and both solutions su. ck, so far i managed this game without killing no one, and without lying. Now to complete the quest i have to lie or kill. I want my henry to be a christian and both choices su. ck... any tips for me guys?

You can go back to your captain and tell him what is going on. You know LIKE HE TOLD YOU TO DO. I bet he will be mad if you deserted him.

Step aside and don't do anything, and live a christian life - there are churches to pray in almost every town.
Or just report to Bernard and he will do the job himself.
Or roleplay Jesus and do miracles using console codes.
You know, not every problem has the 'right' and easy solution, there will be difficult moral choices if you want to play lawful good.

Yeah i have troubles making decisions. First i knocked one out in sleep and the second guy in a fist fight then took their stuff, then knocked them out several times more until they started to runaway and escape, then I looted the chest went back and lied to the guy that i killed them, hoping they will stay away. Problem is they can find somewhere new gear and come back with full force killing innocents, so now i killed them but it says that i murdered 2 people in my statistics, so i think best solution is knocking them out till they run and hope they never come back. I am not a murderer. But a liar. Both sucks.

I try this, riding back now and ask if he can assist me in killing those criminals.

Easy solution. Go there to talk to the bandits. They will attack you on sight and you'll be forced to defend yourself.

There is a speech check that allows you to skip the bandit hunt, so there is a 3rd option. Also, you can pay off/convince another of the workers to tell you the location. There are plenty of options.

NP man. I believe EVERYONE that played that mission the first time didn't think of this. I got a hell of a talk down after I solved the problem only to go back and be threated of court martial.
