quest to go back to first town, horse does disappear ?

well I do leave the town with horse, so the character can make grave for his parents, but the horse does disappear ?

Same question, I continued the quest until I awoke at the Millers house and still no horse... is it just flavor or is there a way to refind your horse?

Nah, it was just temporary. If you want a free horse of your own, just follow the main questline for now. It isn't really worth doing anything in free roaming anyways without a horse to carry you and your stuff.

As above ^ you can no longer find that horse. You'll get your own horse soon anyway.
You used to be able to find it where you left it near the Talmberg quarry (Henry dismounts for a cutscene, then you walk to Skalitz). That's no longer a thing. The horse is gone.

Henry leaves it on the Skalitz outskirts in that cutscene, then gets beaten up and it's gone. And anyway, it's not exactly YOUR horse as you stole it.

Exactly. A few updates ago the horse could still be found if you returned to that spot but it got patched out - and rightly so. That close to Talmberg it would've been found & taken back.

3 is there a way to keep your sword and horse ? I mean you could just leave it in chest somewhere and dont take horse if you escape ?

1) Open your inventory. In the panel at the top with the icons, select "Horse". You move items between your inventory and the horses inventory by pressing 'X'.

2) Yes, you can decide to keep the Roan for yourself by not talking to Stephanie to end the quest. Technically it's never yours but you can keep it indefinitely.

3) You can keep a *copy* of Radzig's sword if you drop it in the chest at Henry's family home in Skalitz before you get attacked by Runt. There's nothing special about it though & it has no special purpose - there are better swords in the game if you look around.

It may be possible to keep the horse you stole from Talmberg for much longer than intended - but as soon as you try to travel to Skalitz & reach the quest trigger marker the cutscene will start where Henry dismounts & you'll loose the horse.

Also, you can increase your carry weight with perks, so look out for those.

The horse you steal at the start is not your horse. You leave it behind and it itself gets stolen by someone else. There is even a cutsene where you leave it behind. You get a horse after you finished the hunting trip with Hans Capon or you buy it for yourself.
