Also most of the dead horses we see are rotted down after the first few game days, yet this one is fresh. which means the asset was either placed there deliberately as a clue to something nearby or it isn't meant to be there.
Did not see the grave - or are you talking about the one right next to the gallows - the one you have to rob for the "Good Theif" quest?
Can't see how the dead horse could be connected with *that* grave. Guessing you mean a different one (?)
Thought it might've been part of a quest I haven't found yet or something.
Cut content is the theory I think I'll go with. Lots of little "visual stories" like this in the world, just this one seems to have no plot!
Glad someone else thinks it looks odd anyway!
That at least gives a gameplay reason for it being there.
Still think it feels out of place that close to Rattay & out in the open like that (as far as the story narrative's concerned) but at least we now know what its purpose is.
