[SOLVED] [SPOILER] Is the side quest "Waldensians" still bugged?
A google search learned me that everyone who bothered writing about this quest, had it fail. But mine doesn't even fail: it seems to just not proceed at all.

After Henry has moved up to the Bauer homestead's attic and says "Ah, I could listen to their prayers here!", the option "Wait [E]" shows up, but pressing E will then once have the message appear that you can't skip time, and after that, it simply doesn't do anything.

I actually 'sat it out', leaving the game running in the foreground. Nothing happens: the Bauers simply go to bed without any prayer at all (which in itself might be considered heretic, but the questlog isn't updated so it is not something that you can report. Besides, according to the walkthrough I've read, Henry overhears Mistress Bauer say to her husband that she wants to go turn herself in with the Vicar.)

Is there a solution or workaround? Even killing the Vicar (which would be the most unelegant wayout, and would probably make Sir Hanush particularly unhappy) didn't trigger a status update in the questlog (although it, quite litterally, gets "rid of the Vicar").

What are your experiences?

A few hours ago in my most recent HC playthrough on PC I sat in the loft to listen to prayers, skipped the cutscene and had the options
1) Go to Godwin or 2) inform vicar.
Initially I did neither but spoke to Mrs Bauer.
I failed to convince her to leave (In other playthroughs I have got her to leave successfully) the option then IIRC was
1)to inform vicar or 2)get rid of vicar
I went and told vicar ( I gave her the chance to leave) and chose the option that there were heretics and was then told to inform Hanush.
A day or two later it popped up "The heretics have been arrested".

I rolled back to a save from before taking on the message, started to doing other things (building the village) and now that i try to sleep I still get that message "Can't sleep - no time to waste!". So, Waldensians is not the problem.

I haven't yet finished (but already started) Epilogue, the final quest. Radzig is expecting me, but I had read that you need to roll back to an earlier save after completing Epilogue anyway, to continue playing. So, I figured I might do some side quests meanwhile as well. But apparently, Sir Radzig is somehow blocking certain game elements. After all Henry's done for him! :(

I hope I can save just before the final scene; hopefully the other quests can still be done.

I made a lot of saves, but it would imply that I'd have to redo all the building that I've done sofar.

If you are on Epilogue you should have had a warning to close out most quests before entering Varnik. So you may well have to roll back to an earlier save.

Funny to find this question here. I have finished this quest once, with no issues. However last night, I ran in Hanusch in Rattay and he bagan the quest a second time for me. Odd

No need! After I finished the main questline up until getting the letter from Sir Hanush and Margrave Jobst (but without going on the journey with Hans) I could do 'Waldensians' as intended. I suppose that Sir Radzig wanted to talk with me, somehow paused all trigger events.
