From the Ashes (lost in the woods quest bug) GLITCH PLS HELP!!!!!

I reached the mission "lost in the woods" and you have to go to the balliff to give him the mace and letter once ive finished the dialogue he says "come along" or "with me" The game black screens and quits. Ive tried reloading before and it still doesnt work and ive even tried loading a save before i bought the dlc and that freezes on the load screen and kicks me off the game. any suggestions would be much appreciated as i have bought the dlc a couple of hours ago

yes, its pretty much the last part of the lost in the woods questline

Yeah it should have been patched
