Bug: the reputation with the sellers is not increasing
Hello. Please tell me the options for solving the problem. I had a problem: the reputation with the sellers is not increasing. I gave discounts on many goods, bought from them increasing the price, but my reputation does not increase. However, the reputation decreases from unsuccessful bidding and other things.

P.S. I restarted the game, restarted the computer, used the previous save (4 hours ago), reinstalled the game. All this did not help.

solved:
Thanks evryone. I got it. I just went through the game at the time of its release, and now, having passed it, I did not know about the new reputation system (after patch 1.5) More trade = more rep, (with tips or not)

The condition of your armor how clean you are.
Your skills and stats increase your speech levels.

In your inventory player>reps, expand the town and note the different groups .
To earn higher reps do side quests for the town.
Go to the Inn keeper and ask is there any jobs needed doing. You should see icon on Map quest giver.
See the local Bailiff and ask the same.
There is also activities.
See this lists all main quests side quests and activities.
There is more when you add DLC

Some more things to consider -

1. Have you slept? Try sleeping 8+ hours, see what happens.
2. Go away - leave the town for a bit, go do stuff, take a few days for yourself. Kill some Cumans for sport.
3. Perk - there are two perks: Infamous and Local Hero. If you have enough experience and perk points, pick the perk "Infamous" - it raises your rep faster when low.

Does this mean that in order to increase relations with a pharmacist from 43 I need to improve relations with everyone in Ratai? (currently the attitude towards me in the region is 45)
How clean should clothes be? Do you need to go to the baths or can you just wash yourself in the tub?
Speech skills are quite high, it often turns out to be convinced of something in the dialogue, there are buffs from skills (to charm)

When my I go into town, I’ll get all slicked up. I’veone of those fancy towel-type hats, fancy green shirt and overcoat, fancy blue pants, decorated riding boots, ring, necklace. And the only weapons I carry are the nobles hunting sword and dagger. No bow, no shield. The merchants live it. I don’t get that “You look like you’ve been assaulted!!” comment. (My favorite variation of that was from one of my buds, in the game, who looked at me after i slunk back to a town after having had a bad scrape with some bandits, and he literally said “whoa what the ♥♥♥♥ happened to YOU?”)

Must also wash regularly

On topic it's still unclear for me how haggling works with disposition. Maybe the effect is not immediate. Note that there's traders subfaction in most towns with its own reputation. Maybe it only affects that, and not individual disposition

You can also get the shave and shorn buff at the bathhouse before you go about conducting town business

Well I get to share now how I got the achievement King Charming, I played like over 500 hours did all the side quests and activities cleaned out bandits attacking traders N or the Inn in the Glen and at the Monestary forrest those bandits were killing guards.
Did the Moddona of Sasau. and still I was short of a couple of reps with guards in Rattay and Monestary.

Decided to do the final main quests and at the take over of Vranik in the Die is Cast I got it.
For some reason it pushed my reps over the needed in both places.
So dont be too dissapointed if you just cant get the guards reps up higher.

It takes a lot of tipping to gain rep. My guess is it is so you can't just max rep out through tips alone.
