Never ending rattay tourney?

Im doing the tournament, ebt on myself yada yada....ive defeated about 9 people in the tourney so far when do i WIN lol

Yeah but what im saying....is I started ONE tournament in Rattay......and it hasnt ended. Im on my like 14th fight now...i keep winning, tournament is not ending

That's quite an amusing bug. My own is I can't progress past the third first of the second tourny. I just get an endless load screen.

Definitely several bugs in this tournament. Heck, they even had a bug that skipped hours of DLC content! :P

That's quite an amusing bug. My own is I can't progress past the third first of the second tourny. I just get an endless load screen.

Considering the only reference to it seems to be this small thread, it makes me think it's not that common.

Have you tried losing every fight and seeing if that resets it?

Sure, why not. If you win 5 Tourneys, you'll collect a full set of plate armor from Hanush. It might not be the best set out there, but I think it has one of the best looks:

If going back to earlier save game, pre-tourney does not resolve, suggest you ignore the tourney for now, maybe the script will reset after you accomplish more of the game's other quests.

If earlier save etc does not work, back up your save games outside in another folder and try completely restarting the game. It absolutely sucks, but sometimes a bug gets 'baked into' a new game start and only shows up later. Happened to me in KCD and yes, new game start resolved it for some reason.

There are 27 rounds/levels.
If you want to have the details for the rewards, you can see it on the very well done Fandom site (the best and most accurate source of information by far).
After reaching the 27th round, the 28th will give you the reward for 1st round, the 29th > 2nd round, etc.

Actually, the tournament becomes easy as soon as you can master 2 moves, and it is a rinse&repeat process afterwards.

It is never ending. I guess I stopped around the 35th round... just before deciding to kill all possible not-respawning NPCs in the game and empty all villages of their inhabitants and turned very very bad ... Except, of course, my preferred ladies/bathmaids ... madness has some limits!

I do not remember that many rounds on first play thru, did they change it? At which round then do you fight Black Pete? That was the end of the first tourney I fought in.

There are three rounds of opponents per Tourney. You advance past each opponent by winning best of three. If you defeat the third opponent (which will be Black Pete for your first win), you win the Tourney and get a prize from Hanush.

Win or lose, there will be another Tourney held in about a week. Winning a Tourney will net you a single prize (plus 400 groschen) from the list in post #13, which also shows the progressive list of prizes from winning repeated Tourneys. Again, one Tourney (and one prize) per game week.
