Screen goes completely black

I finally got the game up and running, Then I leave home and go talk to someone and the screen goes completely black except for the dialogue choices, When the NPC speaks the screen comes back, but when the camera looks at the player, the screen goes black again. I have no idea what is causing this.

ONLY IF! your an Nvidia user;
Start up "Geoforce" and OPTIMISE the game...then START it from Geoforce..this should "SET" the Graphics to run with your New Card...as the Game may still be Searching for the Old Graphics Card (Conflict)...you May have to do a hard Reboot if this fails..to reset the PC Register for all you programs to Recognise the New Graphics Card
and, as a last Suggestion go to the Properties of KCD files and find KingdomCome.exe. Here you will find a tab marked "Compatibility" at the Bottom of this Tab thers a Box labeled, "Change High DPI Settings".....Click on it....Check the box Change DPI...this will "SYNC' the windows Compatibility Sharpness to KCD, and sharpen the LOOK of the play too. You can go to windows setting and do this for all the APPS you use...the LINK is on this same DPI window...

Also "Verify" your steam game while you at it...as its a Download..and they Sometimes are currupted when downloaded? (I can provide instructions on "How to" if needed?)

since I have no clue on what your system is or your VRAM capacity . sounds like you have a memory issue.
I had that as well untill I freed up my background stuff. like my browser , my driver update checker, and my afterburner overlay .

ah...just another dude that wants to "BRAG" about how much $$$ he overspent on Graphics cards...without first "Learning" about "How to" so Im gonna Block ya, for a Personal attack...sorry...and GOOD LUCK getting any real Help?

and which mods are you running? your screenshot shows some sort of inventory sorting.

I run a RX 580.

Im using Blood and Iron mod, it says nothing about changing any graphics.

Well I removed the No Compas mod and the black screen has gone away but the Clothing Icons and HUD Icons are still screwed up.

I delved into the files and compared the original hud textures to the edited UI textures in the UI mods and the Blood and Iron UI cahnges and found the the idiot who changed the UI messed around with the placent of the UI elements in the texture. I have removed the edited UI textures and of course the original texture fits the UI perfectly.
