It is Pechuna the guy that can leave the camp , he was the one to bring necklace to the dice tourney , of course there was two necklaces in the chest but the second one was not worth mentioning and to be called as the fine jewellery . And if you spend the night in the camp after questioning everyone(I do not remember do you must make the deal with robber baron or not) Pechuna will be gone the next morning. And you can hear the guards talking that Pechuna is gone and one of the guards needs some errands done .
So how it went ?
Pechuna was going to marry camp when noticed some merchant sleeping by the river . Pechuna stabbed merchant in his sleep and started looting and when he found the map of the marry camp of bandits on the merchant's corpse , Pechuna realise that he killed the man that robber baron was expecting. So that's why Pechuna try'ed to destroy the map in the merchants camp fire .Then Pechuna took merchant's horse a cross the river and stumped horse in opposite direction of robber's dice camp. Then Pechuna put the fine, Lord Capons, jewellery as a stake for the dice game , and sold or may be lost on purpose boots and dice to Mladota to cover the tracks of murder .To Mladota because of Mladotas constant bragging about robing some merchant.
And now some strange dude comes in to the camp as a merchant Sir Alphonse who , Pechuna know 100%, is stabbed in his sleep by the river, and starts asking questions . Pechuna know that he can not tel anyone about this ... so it is time to get lost A.S.A.P. .
RIIISE… FROM YOUR GRAAAVE! :-D
Or do we need newborn post every time someone asks same question ?
i never understood why some people get mad because a old post gets revived. some people might be playing for the first time and have questions. others might not have played in 5 years and have questions. yet some people seem bent out of shape over old posts waking back up. whats the big deal and why does that even bother people?
Meaning, he was the first to arrive and hand over the key evidence. There's no telling about the die or boots, since you can't be 100% sure those were the ones robbed from the victim.
This one line from the tourny host, indicates Pechuna and no other.
There were 2 necklaces provided for the dice tournament, 1 from Pechuna, the civilian guy, and 1 from Mladota. Problem is the "fancy necklace" does not mean it's Capon's. When you start your game of dice with Mladota, Old Blaha never comments on his wager, only that he is a strange guy and "you'll see". Mladota has the fancy boots, which may not mean anything of course, and a full set of of 6 Alfonse's dies (1 is for Devil's Head). Some might say that he took it from Pechuna, won it all in a dice game, or even stole from him, but this is utter nonsense in my opinion. The Necklace and boots as a dice game wager - this I can understand, but who in his right mind would wager his own set of dice in a game of dice, especially if they seemed lucky. And no one even mention anything about it.
The only instance where Henry wins the die in a game of dice is when he has a bath wench game with Capon. So technically it's possible.
So we need to assume that Pechuna is a cold blooded killer, and he is stupid enough to wager and lose everything to Mladota. And when you play with Pechuna he is one of the best of players, if not the best.
Another assumption is that Pechuna won a dice game against Noggin, Noggin took everything from him when he threatened him with the duel, then Mladota won everything a dice game against Noggin and took everything from Noggin in duel.
Pechuna as a killer is possible, but there are too many assumptions for my liking.
