[Spoiler] Who killed sir Alphonse
So I waited for the 1.7.1 patch before starting the DLC, I talked to Capon, went to Ledetchko found out the trail about the necklace, found Alphonse Dead and his friend asked for my help and I accepted.

I went to the camp, got invited in, started the tournament, got the main guy to give me time to rest before negociating, noticed that Mladota has not only very nice Noble's shoes but also a nice set of dice just like the one that used to be owned by Alphonse but it seems Henry didn't take notice of that.

I won the dice tournament, spoke to all participants without getting anything useful out of it (19 speech/charisma and no option to use it anyway during dialogue), spoke to the wench in the camp, got bored and went to claim my prize, got Capon's necklace back.
I still have the option to find yout whi killed Alphonse but no option to talk to anybody anymore except the old dialogue lines I already sued with the dice players.
I even waited nightfall, pickpocketed all of Alphonse's dices from Mladota and still nothing changed in the quest and no indication that Henry got a clue.

Am I missing something ? Is it bugged still ? Is there no way to complete that quest ?

Hey, you might want to know!

I reported to Anselm that it was Mlatoda who killed Alphonse (though after reading this thread, I am not so sure anymore).

Anyway, I wondered, what will Anselm do once he learns which of the bandits killed his friend? Right after the dialogue, he put on his helmet.

I went about my business, south to Sassau to sell some loot (Prybislavitz is hungry for silver) when I realized - I didn't collect the tourney reward! It wasn't dark yet, so I decided to ride back to the merry camp of the merry band of the merry knights. Some of them were chatting about Mladota having disappeared... good job, Anselm, I guess? Too bad I won't get those shiny dice...

I left the camp by the hanged man. A few steps further away, I noticed something colorful to the left of the path. Oh yes, that was him - Mladota, dead! Anselm must have got him... and took nothing. The silver, weapons, the dice... everything was there.

Anselm seems not to be the looting vulture after all, I think. He must have had time - the camp did not know what happened to Mladota, so none of them must have disturbed Anselm.

It is Pechuna the guy that can leave the camp , he was the one to bring necklace to the dice tourney , of course there was two necklaces in the chest but the second one was not worth mentioning and to be called as the fine jewellery . And if you spend the night in the camp after questioning everyone(I do not remember do you must make the deal with robber baron or not) Pechuna will be gone the next morning. And you can hear the guards talking that Pechuna is gone and one of the guards needs some errands done .

So how it went ?
Pechuna was going to marry camp when noticed some merchant sleeping by the river . Pechuna stabbed merchant in his sleep and started looting and when he found the map of the marry camp of bandits on the merchant's corpse , Pechuna realise that he killed the man that robber baron was expecting. So that's why Pechuna try'ed to destroy the map in the merchants camp fire .Then Pechuna took merchant's horse a cross the river and stumped horse in opposite direction of robber's dice camp. Then Pechuna put the fine, Lord Capons, jewellery as a stake for the dice game , and sold or may be lost on purpose boots and dice to Mladota to cover the tracks of murder .To Mladota because of Mladotas constant bragging about robing some merchant.
And now some strange dude comes in to the camp as a merchant Sir Alphonse who , Pechuna know 100%, is stabbed in his sleep by the river, and starts asking questions . Pechuna know that he can not tel anyone about this ... so it is time to get lost A.S.A.P. .

Agreed :o it's an old game now and this topic is one of the last mysteries of the game so I think it's okey especially if there's some new info someone found.

Well, the true killer is Mladota. You can verify it by losing to him in the dice tourney and accuse him of cheating after that. When the duel starts he taunts you by saying something like "You will not see me coming like the guy who i murdered never saw me coming......" , something like that. Which implies that the killer who murdered Sir Alphonse.

i never understood why some people get mad because a old post gets revived. some people might be playing for the first time and have questions. others might not have played in 5 years and have questions. yet some people seem bent out of shape over old posts waking back up. whats the big deal and why does that even bother people?

Mladota is full of sh*t mate , he was saying that he saved entire camp from doom but it was other way around . And the guy that run the dice game warned about him too .

There is a key bit of evidence that gives it away that it was the local supply guy. Before you face him in the tournament, the tournament host you speak to before each round, mentions that he supplied a very fine necklace for the evening of play.

Meaning, he was the first to arrive and hand over the key evidence. There's no telling about the die or boots, since you can't be 100% sure those were the ones robbed from the victim.

This one line from the tourny host, indicates Pechuna and no other.

Oh, the necromancer's black magic strikes yet again.

There were 2 necklaces provided for the dice tournament, 1 from Pechuna, the civilian guy, and 1 from Mladota. Problem is the "fancy necklace" does not mean it's Capon's. When you start your game of dice with Mladota, Old Blaha never comments on his wager, only that he is a strange guy and "you'll see". Mladota has the fancy boots, which may not mean anything of course, and a full set of of 6 Alfonse's dies (1 is for Devil's Head). Some might say that he took it from Pechuna, won it all in a dice game, or even stole from him, but this is utter nonsense in my opinion. The Necklace and boots as a dice game wager - this I can understand, but who in his right mind would wager his own set of dice in a game of dice, especially if they seemed lucky. And no one even mention anything about it.

The only instance where Henry wins the die in a game of dice is when he has a bath wench game with Capon. So technically it's possible.

So we need to assume that Pechuna is a cold blooded killer, and he is stupid enough to wager and lose everything to Mladota. And when you play with Pechuna he is one of the best of players, if not the best.

Another assumption is that Pechuna won a dice game against Noggin, Noggin took everything from him when he threatened him with the duel, then Mladota won everything a dice game against Noggin and took everything from Noggin in duel.

Pechuna as a killer is possible, but there are too many assumptions for my liking.
