the sale of the coal is too difficult what do you mean. too expensive? i think you didnt get enough from the tool guy, and need to make some extra $$$ from another quest/ looting and selling some stuff. try to steal from the tool guy's chest the rest oif the money might b there

Talk to your father. He will give you the money for it.

Go pick some FLOWERS, and find a Merchant to sell em to Maybe? (its a Learning Experience at the begginning of the game....explore all the Options ok?)

Maybe....if you TALK to everyone, your gonna get a better price? Even find a true "Coal Seller" instead of the Middle man Merchant that buys COAL then Marks it up for Resale?

How in this world did you get the money from this guy? As far as i know its not possible. All i can do is get the stuff back and then sell it. btw what do you mean too difficult??? If you mean expensive? the stuff you get back sells for enough money to get coal and beer. btw since you can sell everything anyway including your clothes money for coal should not be a problem.

He's at the very Beggining (I figure) of the Game, and Still not thinking of KCD being Unlike any other RPG made to date? As soon as he gets this Idea, its gonna start being FUN for the guy....right? :steamhappy:

Got it finally, stole them after knocking him out with melee punches.
Told father and received cash then haggled

I ended up choking the guy out, stole back the borrowed tools, then give them to dear dad and he give me the money I needed for the coal. Do love that there is many options for getting around this problem.

You trade in the tools you took from Kunesh, to buy the charcoal, that with some flower picking, and some stealing in Talemburg, see's me start the game at the Mill, with over 100 chroschen.

I got my friends to help me kick his butt. He gave me his keys to his chest. I took the tools back and sold them but I could only get like $1.40 but the coal cost $8.50. Was I supposed to bring the tools to dad instead?

Sell the tools for the charcoal, but also gather some herbs to help cover the total price

And while ur at it - gather lots of herbs and sell them to the various merchant who will buy.

And don't worry about weapons or other gear until later, but have food though.

And next time, maybe start a new post instead of trying necromancy.
