.pak mods in KCD/Data folder arent working

When I install kcd mods that are folders they go into Steamapps/common/KCD/Mods and those work fine

but mods that come as .pak I place in steamapps/common/KCD/Data. and these mods dont work
for example - zzz_no_stamina_effects.pak is located here but I still get stamana effects ingame, aswell as - zzz_kcd_RestoreHalberds.pak. and I still cant use halberds

are my .pak files in the wrong place?
could I have messed up the folder when I placed the wrong type of mod in /data in then removed it. (but something was replaced)
I fear something is wrong with my /data folder but how could I know (or just revert or fix that issue assuming thats it)

Since some game update it's possible to run paks from Data folder only if you register them manually into pak.cfg file. I wouldn't risk it, however - those mods are probably very outdated

in your mod folder make a folder with the mod name of the .pak and place the .pak file into it. then start

and I also had to create a /Data folder for each one, for example /KCD/Mods/Restore Halberds/Data/ zzz_kcd_RestoreHalberds.pak

works with unintrusive reticle and more functions to RMB, fast arrows aswell as the ones mentioned above

I wish it would work for Stop Greetings.. the most annoying part of the game when a random peasant ive never seen before says "Henry is Here!" So Immersion breaking.. and the author wont update the mod.

I've tried it myself but to no avail. Did all the fixes. Nothing works, everyone just ends up in a upword stance, unable to move, and you cant talk to them.

plus @gameasor you should be using Blood and Iron anyways. It adds those mods you mentioned and many more plus works. Also adds perks etc.

I installed that mod and every icon for every item in the inventory is messed up and some of them show half of 2 icons, I tried the version with no UI and I tried removing every other mod I had to no avail
