Merciful achievement: stuck on payback quest

I can't get past the part of the siege where you are sent to clear out the camp with 2 soldiers. The soldiers always seem to die straight away as the enemy seems to be happy ignoring the fact that Henry is punching them :P.

Anyone who has completed the achievement i'd be interested to hear how you got past this section :)

I believe I simply skipped that part (I have the achievement and I can't even remember it lol), isn't it optional?

I thought it was compulsory. How did you skip it by the way?

We're talking about Vranik battle right? Your allies should handle everything themselves, and if they don't... I remember myself running around for a bit until the quest is 'done' and proceeded to the next part automatically

Yep the vranik battle. The section where captain Bernard tells you to deal with the camps. So I should just run around like a loony for a while? 😝

Yes, try that. I think I first attacked those camps with my allies, but when allies were squashed I just ran away and not long after that the objective completed itself

Thank you very much. I did it again but when my soldier buddies died i just ran around and it transitioned to the next section. Just got past Talmburg battle 1 as well. Will i face any difficulties for the final battle?

You may encounter similar situations but it's all doable, nothing special. If you'll do side objectives for final Talmberg siege (like bringing beer and food to soldiers etc) allies will get buffed and it should be easier

I hunted a a bit as long as you haven't killed any man or woman it should be fine.

Having the problem that Johanka won't speak to me so i can't complete the Talmburger achievement. Any fixes?

If so talk to Nicodemus instead.

Use a weak bow and wounding arrows. This also prevents target lock. Don't have to fire arrows if you don't want to.
