Returning Zora’s horse after the race - BUT HOW?

I just won the horse race in Talmberg and trying to return Zora’s horse. I rode it back all the way to Neuhof but there is nowhere an option to return it. When I talk to her I just tell her about the race and she gives me the saddle. Her side quest finishes but the “return zora’s horse” optional part of the quest will be failed, even so I returned to horse. Where do I have to bring it. That's frustrating…

There is also no quest marker on the map for “returning her horse”. Only for “Telling her about the race”. But the quest is active in the quest logbook

Leave it in the courtyard where her husband died earlier in the game, and where the first butchered horses were.

I did.....I parked it right there. nothing happens. That's the same spot where I pick it up at the beginning of the quest. I also tried to park the horse right on Zora's lap. Didn't work neither....

I have the exact same issue. Parked Zora's horse at different locations (one of them is the exact spot where I picked up the horse in the first place) and after talking to Zora it says failed to return the horse as a result. Looks bugged to me.

After winning the race did you talk to the Bailiff, or whoever organized the race? (forgot his name)
If i remember correctly, the quest didnt advance for me until i talked to that guy, he was still standing at the race starting place.

Yes, I talked to him, then rode the horse back to Zora, parked it a different spots at her horse ranch and still failed that part of the quest. I went also to the Warhorse forum and it seems a lot of people have the same problem recently. Maybe a new bug the started with the new patch from last week.

I guess I have to have this one go "failed". my first failed after 33hrs play time. :-(

Even though it will say failed, it actually passes in the quest log. Read the quest log and it will show the horse has been returned! YOUR WELCOME.

Thought I was going insane because I was having the same issue, this is the only place I've found people even discussing it. Good to know it's not just me.

It happened to me too, i suppose that you should park it in her proximity rather than park it in the courtyard where bernard was during the main questline. Anyway it dosen't influence the final result of the quest. I prefered kill that crap horse, cause it made me lose alot of times due his slowness and low stamina.....Zora really deserved to lose the rights about Divish's horses, that horse was awful to use.

It says that even if you kill the horse or leaves it wherever, I tried.

I'd like this bug fixed too.

Yeah I failed to return the horse, I demounted by her, she was sewing in the first yard, completed the quest, got the saddle etc, but failed to return the horse

I tried parking it where she spawned her, but that didn't change anything and neither did it right in her face between the wooden bench and the fire.

Weird thing is, it shows in the completed quests section description that the dappled grey was returned to zora, yet I received a "failed" for the popup, this is quite conflicting.

Edit: Both times the popup says quest failed but the dappled grey disappears always.

Still buggy :( Luckily, it's just optional. The mission can be accomplished.
