[ MAYBE SOLVED]Tournament doesn't start a second time

so i went to the smith in samopesh, got the quest, didnt find anything about the black knight out and won the tournament.
I heard it starts again every 7th day. so i skipped seven days but nothing happened.
is it a bug or should i wait longer?

You first have to trigger an event. When you go to the bridge in the north of rattay after you started/ended the quest from the smith in samopesch you meet the black knight. he will attacks you. when this happens you get the new quest. After this the tournament should start every 7th day

I skipped 20 days and it never triggered, so maybe missing days doesn't work. There must be some trick, maybe skip 6 days then let the seventh play out.

Maybe you have to sleep the night before.

@Leo Have you been able to complete the 2nd tourney? I killed Black Peter when he ambushed me and now when I get to the 3rd match in the 2nd tourney the game goes into endless loading.

I reloaded the game when the 2nd tourney strated but now it doesnt start anymore. How long did you wait until your 2nd tourney started?

I waited for about a week, not skipping time though, just playing normally. I also managed to fix this loading issue, I reloaded a previous save and went to the blacksmith in Samopesh to tell him I killed Black Peter. Then I could complete the 2nd tourney normally.

How many Tourneys are there, anyway?

Also try talking to the miller near Rattay (the one with Theresa who saved you in the beginning). He will have a new option to gamble about your win in the tournament. This also gives you the activity-quest to enter the next tournament (and maybe triggers it?).

Also yea, make sure to finish the quest with the smith from the first tournament in either way.

Just punch the guard and get into a jail.
When you come out tourney will be ready.
