I went with Zach & went the non-violent way. Im a crappy fighter

I went with the "get the most speechcraft points as possible" route by taking every speech option available.

I did the duel and agreed to win for Zach AND agreed to lose for Ota. Ended up winning and it worked out fine. Losing just didn't feel right. (winning is in support of Zach)

I don't think it really matters either way. They don't hate you afterwards if you lie or cheat them. It didn't even affect my reputation. Ota will still sell to you at regular price.

You get either Vitus' cuirass or Ota's cuirass depending on who you supported. Vitus' cuirass is plain better in every single stat point, by a significant margin. Better defense in every stat, less viability, less noise and sells for much more. I think it also affects who you can hire as your DLC armorer. I like Ota more and think he's cooler, but Vitus' son Zach is just plain better. I also hear Ota won't repair your gear in the DLC if you choose him.

I went with Ota because I liked him more, but in terms of the DLC, Ota gives you less money per day than the other guy.
Zachy 5/fev./2019 às 2:56
I try both, Ota is nicer guy but Zach gives you better and better looking armor.

If you ever do the Queen of Sheba Sword quest, SPOILER:: which is too much work for the reward, you'll realize what a douche Zach really is. What's funny is that when you look at inventories, Zach is a blade smith, not an armourer, so it makes no sense.

You're thinking of the swordsmith in Sasau; Zach is the armorsmith in the Monastery courtyard.

Ota wants you to cheat, which implies his armor is the inferior product - thus Zach is correct in his assessment. Ota's a dk

Hey, I'm doing this quest now but the problem is that after I win for Zach he doesn't give me Vitus's cuirass. What do I need to do to get it from him?

You first need to find out about the copper (using charisma or scaring him) then he gives you the same deal and offers to pay you for it, as well as give you the armour

I helped otan, because I couldn't win the fight, But now Zach doesn't wanna tell me anything about rapora. What do I have to do now?

You should still have an option to speak with Feyfar, then with engraver and then with Florian. He goes to the engraver's workshop just after 8 AM. Rapota should be not too far behind him, following him.
On my playthrough I didn't even find out who was working with copper in Sasau as I didn't think of speaking with Zach's son.

Definitely won't help Ota who wants Henry to cheat, he is just a stubborn ego old guy with inferior craftmanship
