New Game - Quick / Alternate Start?

Are there any mods or official future plans to implement a quick or alternate start that can bypass the prologue? I'm currently starting yet another new game (hardcore mode), but just got totally bored going through that first hour. When I eventually start another new game, I seriously do not want to have to go through that again.

I've been through it like seven times, I know what happens and want to get to where the game really opens up to the player (when you wake up near Rattay). It was fun at first, but it gets more and more tedious each time you go through it.

For the time being, until a real alternate start / quick start mod or update comes out, the idea of having to use a save game will have to do. However, I'm not using those saves you linked - they don't have hardcore enabled, so I'll just use my own.
