No mods installed at all, cant close tutorial screen

Just started to play the game for the first time, and I´m stuck at the persuasion screen. The solution found on the web to change some defaultprofile.xml doesnt work since I have no mods folder at all - because I didnt install any mod and not even the defaultprofile.xml file....
Any ideas plz,
otherwise I just uninstall and request a refund, since I´ve only 35mins on record and I´m not going to spent another minute in this game, if 5 months after its release date it doesnt even work.

I can't tell where you are exactly, but this game requires that you hold down keys to navigate through some menus, not just press the key.

you need to HOLD ESC till the bar fills up.

I did hold it, more than long enough. Also couldnt navigate to the 2nd screen. Restarted it and now navigation worked with the arrow keys and also holding down escape closed the window....
Quite buggy for a 5 month old game.... well I play it for the 2hrs and then consider a refund if more crap like this happens

Crashed like 10 minutes later, uninstalled and refund requested. This is garbage.

NEVER has a Problem at all< BUT THEN I don't USE mods either! a MOD is a Modification of what a game Maker put a lot of TIME/Effort/Money/and Artist's hard work into for People to Enjoy,...When you HAVE TO "CHEAT YOURSELF" by Using MODS in a Single Player game, you will NEVER enjoy what the Dev's are trying to share!

Don't blame the Game Makers for Screwing Up their Hard work with Penny Ante Modifications that "Break" the Game Line Entirley...(sigh)
Try a Game Load "FRESH" without Game Mods..and call me totally wrong about this, but remember I'm one of Millions of other Users that Play this game without MODS trouble free
PS, not subscribing, as youve made up you mind that the ONLY type of game(it seems?) you wanna play is ONE where you can CHEAT yourself outta Enjoying the game as its supposed to be, so whats the point in trying to change you mind at all?

Same problem here, it's with the new hardcore mode, when I exit the house after the first conversation, the screen where it explains the hardcore mode cannot be closed. I tried to start a new game 3 times, and it always freezes on this screen.

I requested a refund and just got it, so I no longer care. Maybe I´ll give it another try on the black friday sale in november
