Is there any dismemberment / blood / gore mod

Unfortunately you'll have to wait until around winter time for mod tools to be released. The only mods that exist right now are very limited in that they can only modify existing stuff, they can't add features or anything.

I'm no biology enthusiast, but I'm pretty sure dismemberment like we see in movies and video games isn't really realistic. Pretty sure you can't lob someone's head off in one quick sideways swing. Not to mention that even if you could, preventing such a thing would be one of the main purposes of armor.

I love it in a good fantasy setting, but I doubt it has a place in a game that aims to be realistic.

There are test videos showing that with the right sword, you can chop a pig clean in half. While the pig is unarmored, it’s possible. Check out the Cold Steel videos. As cool as dismemberment would be, I think it being extremely limited, not common, and allowing it mainly on unarmored people would be a better , more realistic choice.

You'd need to be a pretty strong person with a two handed sword or axe to dismember someone with a single swing.

Not one of these posts again. If you hit a cloth covered peasant in the neck with a sword yes there should be partial dismemberment. Don't try and defend their crappy decision to not add any blood or gore
