I wish modders could take the map and get super creative with many new experiences. The game is worth buying just for the incredible map.
Er. The places may be real, but the map is not, nor is it to any kind of scale. I have been all over the UK though(well except Ireland).
the place is very real and its not in the UK ....

The place is at best half real. They took real places for inspiration, but the map is heavy modified. Sassau is halfway between Talmberg and Skalitz in reality. Look on the game map for comparision. Never could find Prebyslawitz on the map. Could be anything up to Kostelec, as distorted as the map is. It is an alternate reality.
The map is in two (major) pieces, both fairly close to being in scale, but offset from their real place.
If Rataje>Uzhitz>Talmberk>Merhojed>Samopesch>Vranik are taken as the 'base' map, then the remainder (Pribyslavitz>Rovna>Skalitz>Sasau) would form a second chunk well off to the NW of the map with a roughly 2-3km gap between the two segments... but within the map segments things are pretty close to scale.
There are other edits (like UZhitz having significantly higher relief than the real village has) and some blends and minor excisions to make what is left fit within a chosen technical limit.
It is more complicated than that. Sassau was moved like 2 km east and 3 km south, while Skalitz was moved like 5 km east and 1 km south in comparision to the real position of Talmberg.
And now I also found a mention and the location of Pribyslawitz. Pribyslavitz, Rovna and Skalitz positions are also a bit distorted in angle and distances to each other. The small settlement was given up in/after second world war. Disappointing. On the other hand it could be alternate reality. We likely build it up bigger than it ever was. No mention of a church and such. Only a small farm settlement with 2 farmers.
