Making objects visible

Heya guys,

So I just chased a rabbit throught the woods trying to shoot it with a bow, eventually got it and now I'd like to go back picking my arrows up. But in this game that is virually impossible because you just can't see things you drop. I've even had kills and then not been able to find them.

I know this is edging to more realistic and I get that but I would like to be able to hit a button and have objects get a white highlight so I can at least see where they are. Does anyone know if that is possible or if there is a mod for it?
