GPU - GTX 1060 6gb
Ram - 16GB DDR3
HDD - Well..it's new and it's current era.
Meh. I've never had issues with any other game, don't see what makes this one special about it. Also I sit on a decent 40 - 60 FPS on High - Ultra. I have all the Distance settings on max to render things out but it's kinda....stupid. I feel like it's just a lack of optimisation as it stands for now.
Also some of the textures up close is a bit low res even on Ultra textures, like apples. But then the game is only 34Gb how can I expect everything 8K textures.
It has been happening to people with a wide variety of specs and settings so I think it is down to optimisation. Hopefully it will be at the forefron of their patch in a couple weeks time.
You shouldn't be required to have the game on an SSD to avoid this kind of pop in. I excede the recommended specs and I still get terrible pop-in.
Oh. Because we all have money to waste on an SSD for one damn game. No game should REQUIRE an SSD.
> It's not.
> It's a game software issue.
> Games with better graphics and more content have never had this issue with me.
> It's the damn game.
Sure, it IS the game. I never claimed otherwise. But, since we're talking about THIS game, not any other hypothetical game, the truth of my statement stands. This game is objectively better with an SSD, and solves a multitude of issues people have with it, particularly on ones with excellent benchmarks.
Also I find it amusing you're the one who posted a video titled "2018 gents." Maybe in 2018 you should have an SSD. Isn't exactly a new thing.
Just like the people bashing the game unfairly there are the idiots who defend it like it is perfect. This is one of the worst releases I have played through since Rome 2. There are the performance issues and game breaking ones like characters not showing up in main quests. But some people just don't want to accept that it is the reality of the situation because they are scared if this game fails it will make others like it have a harder time getting released.
And honestly even with the botch job this game has had I don't see this failing. Enough people will stick with it through patches because at its heart this is a good enough game. It just needs to be fixed and tweaked to make it more fit for public consuption rather than beta testers.
Damn near every game is faster on an SSD, never been required to install a game on mine to get textures to load in before I am watching a man load dirt and hair onto his face mid conversation.
SSD is not a listed requirement. Ask the devs if they think that's acceptable and they will tell you it isn't.
Let's hope the next big patch fixes it.
It has nothing todo with ssd thing.
I have the game on a wd black hdd wich is very fast.
Makes no sense to a ssd...
It's just bad optimized at the moment like any tripple A title wich comes out.
They fix it in some weeks with a patch.
