Red Cutscene where you have to save your parents

This is probobly the most frustrated and angry at a game I have ever been. It makes litterally zero sense whatsoever and I have been running around for 30 minutes and as far as I can tell acomplished absolutly nothing.

Are you following the waypoint? I just had to walk forward a bit, and slash at some dream-cumens and it ended. Perhaps you got turned around.

I didn't even realize there were 2 enemies the first time I went through that part. I just kept walking forward and was like, 'Man was that part even necessary?' The tutorial doesn't tell you that the two crossed swords on your compass is an enemy trying to kill you.

I recommend fighting with them. You can actually build your skills up a bit even though it's meant to be a dream. Use every opportunity you can to train yourself in this game. (obviously don't pick a fight with a knight in full armor, lol)

It doesn’t show you where ti go in hardcore mode. Try not being a D from time to time. Very old thread I know but i had to look up a youtube video & go inti the comments to find where to go to trigger the cutscene.

i do recall wandering around during this when i first started playing - yes, frustrating

then i learned about the waypoint and what it represented, and that "just walk forward" was close enough even for hardcore (no waypoint provided)

i agree it is darker than it needs to be, but it is successfully disorienting, which i think is the primary goal.

I attack those two and I do pick up their shields and weapons just to sell them later. I do agree it can be a little frustrating and I kinda wish we could just hit the escape button to skip it totally.
