cant summon my horse anymore?

i am pressing X to summon him but he wont come anymore.. anybody know how/why?

There's a bunch of horse bugs. Only work around found so far is to quit and reload.

Just wait until you get on and he starts spinning in a circle. That's interesting.

Is horse in your horse item tab? If not, he might be dead. You can buy another better one at any stables. If he shows up in the tabs, just try to whistle in a different spot. Also, ive had him navigate into holes, bushes, and trees in the wild hiding him from me. However, he reliably shows up on trails and clearings. Ive gone on some crazy woodland adventures with him and killed us many times navigating at full gallop down a mountainside or into fences, rocks, and cows, and the like. Great fun!

I have the same problem but i cannot even buy a new horse!
I have become a pedestrian knight :(

Same here. Buy a new horse doesn't fix the problem.

The entire "Horse" section in actionmaps was replaced with "companions".

It should be solvable by simply rebinding key for "companions".

If it still doesn't, try binding a different key (not 'X') for "Companions".

Also, putting 'PC' (or whatever you got) instead of 'Auto' in "UI controls detection".

Disabling mods should not even be mentioned at this point.

If it still doesn't work, backup and delete
C:\Users\ <...> \Saved Games\kingdomcome\profiles\
and disable Steam Cloud so it won't restore faulty version

It might be more than just the horse. I encountered a bug while shopping. I couldn't check out from the shop because nothing happened when I pressed X. Everything else worked just fine but X did nothing. So this might be the same bug as with the horse meaning it's not about the horse but has something to do with the X key.
