It's all in where you wear your wares.

I'm here 2 years later with your answer! The tailor in Ratay is in the little courtyard around the corner from the armorer and swordsmith through the archway – and on the map, the tailor icon for me is hiding behind a red star which is titled "Quest Tipster." NOTE: The tailor's wife will not offer repairs, only wares. You have to ask the tailor to get the repairs option.

Why did you bother digging up a two year old thread that was already answered in the first comment?

Once you have done the Courting Theresa quest you can ask her to repair your clothes for free.

Must be DLC-related, I never saw this in dialogue options during first play thru, 'cause I tried and tried to get another freebie from her, LOL. So a roll and fixes buttons too, eh?

Google brought it up, not me. The answer you mentioned was not at all convincing ("Well I know there's a tailor in Rattay, there maybe? haven't checked myself") and what do you care, anyway?

Partly a forum etiquette thing about reviving dead posts (why it's called a "necro") and partly general confusion. I like to understand why people do things, so I'm just confused as to why you would go out of your way to answer a two year old question that had already been answered.

And yet, new information is added that is valued by others, so no, not a dead thread by any means it seems,.
