Sleeping in Rattay
I am trying to find an Inn/tavern i can pay to sleep in for the sake of using my apparently magic chest that teleports goods from city to city, but seems like no tavern offer the option to pay for a bed. Am i doing something wrong? where can i sleep in that city...?

Well the Millers outside of the walls is the main bed space for you in that town but I also slept in the small barracks area above the armory after I joined the service and had patrolled the streets.

I also think it should be clearer where inns are, and where the associated NPC is for it.

You get your own place there in Pirkstejn (lower castle) soon. Other than that, Peshek's mill.

You can rent rooms at the inn just to the east of combat arena where you train with captain Bernard.

You gotta walk around a new town and discover it, and than search the inn for the inn keeper, i think its this "realism" that pulled most of us in as fans.

The tents outside the walls, closeish to the training ground where Bernard is at, that allows you to both sleep and save, and there is also a stew pot, so win-win.
Edit....did not notice the necro, GJ bois.

Its rather clear already. The one inside Rattay are 2 Tavern. Tavern, not Inn. While outside of Rattay to the north, if you aren't blind you'll see a rather big inn. You should have discover it early even from the 'Hunt with Hans Capon' quest. As for the guy for it, well of course you just gotta find the innkeeper or maid.
Every lodging is a tavern, but not every tavern is a lodging.
