I mean I don't care who does what because it is single player but the speed at which these appeared makes is seem like people are not really giving it a fair chance before giving up.
I understand the save issue somewhat due to some of the bugs but lock picking I want to actually level up an improve before I give up on it.
I actually think the save thing is because people are experiencing bugs that are causing them to lose too much time via gameplay. If it wasn't as buggy, the save system might not be that bad.
a five year old post is not the best way to ask a question from active players, but it works...
a game state change that appears after reloading a game save is a known bug, but is usually related to a previous crime that had been observed by an NPC but was not properly reported to the player (or the game code).
thus the bug actually occurred prior to the re-loaded game save, and once the save is loaded, the game reflects the unknown truth of the crime being observed - and this cannot be avoided since the game save data, showing an observed crime, cannot be changed.
in this example, since the crime was observed, you must either roll back to a game save from before the crime, or simply deal with being a criminal in your current gameplay.
