so i kinda looked up at my lit torch and my emptier pockets :(.....
Yes, I find this one to be one of the biggest issues that makes polearms less fun. You are basically left to only use one if you kill someone using one against you, and only then if you don't somehow lose the polearm after that either.
I guess it makes sense in the fact that a polearm won't really fit into any pack and you could only really march around with one, but that doesn't really excuse it. People took care of their weapons and wouldn't just haphazardly ditch their primary weapon of choice (polearm), especially if they get a nice one.
EDIT: On the other hand, it makes complete sense for game balance. Because polearms are OP.
