Broken Kickstarter promises

I may not be a backer but I don't like that Warhorse is ignoring it's Kickstarter Stretch Goals and promises for generous backers?

I just read that a lot of stuff they promised was scratched and these backers won't get:

- printed manuals because they cost too much
- real swords and shields because they cost too much
- t-shirts in different sizes because they cost too much
- metal gaming cases because they cost too much

- playable female character
- dog companion

That's understandable though.
I mean, which developer wants to spend unnecessary amounts of money, am I right?
The backers did, but who cares, it's not as if anyone forced them to do it.
They didn't buy anything because it's just an investment...no, better yet...it's a donation!
They can't expect something in return, certainly nothing that we promised them.
It's not like we broke a contract or something.

We can't afford to fulfill our promises so we expect everyone to pay 50 whatevers for a buggy mess with poor performance and a boring story.

I don't like to spend money either so I will just buy a russian key for $15

got the case and the sword. I was a beta kickstarter about 15 months ago. I know they are having issues with manuals and a few other things due to things on their site being wrong. but they are fixing it. they ruled out dogs and females a long time ago

I thought they already sent out the swords. They even made a video of someone forging them. There was even an offer to upgrade your kickstarter pack to get the sword.

I think he mean's what's the point of this thread? People having issue's getting kickstarter rewards isn't uncommon for any project. It happen's all the time and almost always gets sorted out.

You're basically trying to crusade for something you clearly don't understand.

in a sub of game you dont want to play. coming with a bunch of gathered secondhand information from the internet were complainers will aways be overpresented because that were they lead thier lives. when happy people are spending thier time on playing the game or seeing friends.
