So i found love with sword and shield instead :) killed 4 bandits an hour ago with a poopy sword and a decent armor, and killed them all, the archer was the easiest one, then went to the camp sneaky and stealth killed the 4 left of them, gained quite a bit of coin and new stronger armor and a shield X)
Indeed. It's a bit bad though to have Q as dodge when you need to often move with WASD though.
When there are robbers in a town or low grade bandits on the road I try, at least part way along, to switch to the bludgeon.
A favorite of mine is to knock out road brigands. Loot them unconscious of their weapon (so they cant attack others), grotchen (cause reasons) and their footwear. For the sinful shall dash barefoot through the brambles of repentance! Sometimes I chase after them a while on horseback watching their barefoot repentance. A witness to their chasity in humble service to our lord god.
I still haven't even fought an enemy after the prologue.
And i've spent HOURS training with the dude in Rattay.
Train hard, fight easy. The first bandit that I meet is going to be absolutely pwned.
I love this damn game for the simple reason you have this option.
