Stuck on top of my horse :/

Stuck on top of my horse after quick travel and pesheks debt collector bugged me out, how do I get off or move? I've tried everything

Can you fast travel again? Go to nearest town and back?

I had this problem once. Shot my horse in the head to try and get out of it, and then ragdolled infinitely. Only fix atm is to reload a save, I'm afraid.

Another trigger that causes the stuck on horse bug is when you look at a treasure map and exit again whilse mounted on the horse.

While a fix is being addressed, the work around is to dismount BEFORE looking at a treasure map.

It is also worthwhile to keep a lot of Saviour Schnapps stored in your horse, then while you are out and about, save frequently, to maintain progress in your gameplay.

Additionally, it is also helpful to save, exit and restart your computer, to refresh threads and files. This prevents bugs and crashes etc from occuring and only takes a couple of minutes while playing for long periods.

In time, fixes will improve as updates come out, so it'll all be fine eventually.

Just undress your horse and fall from it after excessive gallop?

An easier solution is to gallop your horse into something hanging low, such as the edge of a slanted roof building or a stone wall only tall enough to walk through. Low branches may also dismount you. If that doesn't work, try the above

I also got stuck on my horse but I also wasn't able to move at all. I was able to dismount after I droped something from my inventory.

I'm playing hardcore (quick travel not possible) and was stuck two times. I could continue by saving the game (drink savior schnapps) and reload it.

Shooting arrows at a guard and then surrendering works too, you don't have to hit him

Are any of these solutions permanent? As in, do it once and the bug goes away forever?
