Also there is no questmarker for hares thats the point of the quest. Unlike Hans you dont know the good spots (I found great ones later when other missions took me back into the woods where I could have gotten four hare within minutes insead the of over the 5 hours of hunting).
2) You don't have to use the Capon bow.......If you arent levelled for it dont use it.
3) Killing any animal and taking the meat is poaching, so its classed as stolen. That is not a bug. He doesn't care about the meat, the game tracks how many rabbits you kill.
What a nice gamestopping bug.
Said it where though?
You just hunt until night then go back to camp and he is waiting for you. Is that not happening for you?
Ahh, i see. Yeah, to be honest, you dont get much off him anyway and its eclipsed by saving him from death by the cumans!
I gave the camp and quest area a really really wide birth. Walked far away and then the quest finally dinged as done and now to go meet at camp. Just give the zone time to reset. NPC probably glitched when I was too close to him upon quest completion.
It's annoying yes, but not broken completely.
I killed a TON of hares, he gave me 100 coin!
