Is there a way to get out of Talmberg without stealing the armor?

Couldn't convince the lord and the armor is well guarded and I wanted to play a honest playthrough.
Is there another way?

Has anyone even managed to convince Sir Robald to let you leave? At minimum, it has to require at least a total speech of 8 (5 plus 3 from Lowborn), because 7 isn't doing it, but I'm legitimately not sure how to get Speech up to 5 by this time (assuming that's even enough).

Do side quests before main quests. There is always some drunk that needs help etc.

Really ? There are side quests in Talmberg inside the castle ? I've been speaking to a lot of NPC's and n,othing so far.

i finally manage to get some armor and the guard said open the gate but it will not open how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up is this 4 years of making this game and a simple ♥♥♥♥ bug come on guys i was hyper about this game now iam stuck great fuicking ♥♥♥♥ job

Still how did you manage to get the armor at all ? Every time I get into the freaking room where the chest is, even with the door closed and nobody around and in stealth and not moving 30 seconds later if not less a guard will come in

I tested it on another private room where nobody enters ever, I waited a long time to be sure, nobody goes there and as soon as I go in in stealth even if I freeze as soon as I'm in, the door is closed nobody around but sure enough the psychic AI will send someone to wander in just then.

And it's not because I've been spotted entering as nobody said anything like who goes there or such like they do when they see you.

@jeza i was lucky i guess there was no guard for atleast 3 minutes try to close the door when you in the room i dont think he get in this game need a lot of fixed bugs like this is hilerious after 4 years of making this game and what really sucks is this stupid save no can i had to finish a quest 10 time

You can just pick a fight with random people in the place till they toss you out.

Not that hard to get lps and the armor bow shield and etc, you can steal all the arrows in the tower sell most of them to the trader guy along with the extra shield you do not need, talk to the queen tell her you might need to bribe someone she gives you good chunk of change, go buy lockpicks 1 was enough for me to pick the easy chest, the hard one the game will not even allow you to try. So now you got armor, extra coin a shield, bow and some arrows.

Which you are going to have to get someway and fighting in peasant clothes is just going to get you killed.

I got caught after failing to steal the armor, and I had some nabbed bow and arrows in my inventory so after serving my sentence I spawned right outside the gate lmao.

There is a whole set of armor in the top of one of the towers.
