Lock FPS to 30.
I would like to know how to lock the FPS to 30 in this game because I cannot get a stable 60 no matter the graphic settings. I am trying already with RIvaTuner Statistics Server but it doesnt work. I am on nvidia btw.

Hello,

The console command you are looking for is:

sys_MaxFPS 30

This will cap the framrate to 30 F.P.S. Have fun! Dont forget to set it to 11 instead of 30. Let the PUKE a THON begin!

Wait, why should I set it to 11 to have it at 30?
Also, on another site they said this is only for the current play, and that it neds to be done every time you launch the game. Or else to add the line in the .cfg file.
Is this true?

Ok, but why should I write to lock them at 11 to have 30 FPS?

No idea about locking it via the in game console, I use the Nvidia control panel to lock my frames to 60 for all games, at that is a setting of 60 nothing else, (30 in your case) My monitor can only display 60 so anything more is a waste of processing power.

Nvidia control panel>manage 3D settings>Program settings find Kingdom come, scroll down to max frame rate, turn on and set to 30, apply settings and quit.. enjoy the game capped at 30fps

I believe you might be able to do it permanently by editing a specific line of text in the user.cfg file.

sadly even if using user.cfg with other than 30fps, there still are cutscenes that will only play at 30fps as that's what they were created at.
dunno if its engine anims or mocaps, but one of them is capped to 30fps only no matter what you try.

obviously this is nothing that even gpu drivers could fix and force the extra fps where there's none to be displayed.

Every time I try to open that panel, the program crashes. I don't know why, but before crashing it says that there are'nt programs in there.
Any idea on how to fix?

Could try and reinstall it from windows store (remove it first) might also be an idea to manually find the drivers on nVidia's website and download them and do a clean install. other than that without being sat in from of your pc I have no idea why control panel is crashing.
