Unable to install treasures of the past dlc

Hello everyone,

I am having this pop up ''steam failed to install (app configuration unavailable)'' when trying to install the treasures of the past dlc. It was fine reedeming the code but not possible to install.

Please help, thank you.

That usually happens when you add a dlc and base game is not yet installed. I had the same error when adding the dlc (but i'm still downloading the game)

What i have seen is that there's nothing that says you own the dlc (shows no dlcs for the game yet, maybe it's shown only in-game?)

Yes also checked on the dlc section and haven't found anything, I would assume that is an in-game only, however would like a confirmation from devs, since it is been already confirmed somwhere that you can disable the dlc (which hints that it could possibly show on the dlc section?).

Btw, you'll probably be getting the same pop up once the game is installed.

It just finished installation, i had the pop-up when i added the dlc next to game's key. Time to play! :D

PD: i have seen a good bunch of questions about pre-order dlc already. No one seems to have much info about this. It's not only treasure maps and new locations, but also the new armor for your char (which i assume you will receive when start a new game, so it should be easy to check if it's there)

I finished the prologue, and no new armor found, or treasure map in inventory. :(
Still wonder where the ♥♥♥♥ is it, no one knows...

i solved it.
if you get this message:app configuration unavailable

then you have to do this:
Shutdown Steam and delete this file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\appcache\appinfo.vdf". Try install again.

Thank you for the suggestion good sir. Unfortunately I’ve tried that after doing some research before posting here, didn’t work work for me :(

It randomly popped up on the dlc section, so all good.
