Kunesch: First quest, first bug?

I was trying to complete the first quest where we need to get money from Kunesch. I fight him once and I failed. After this I healed myself by using "mother". After this I fight him again and won. He went down and I choosed "Unequipt him and let him pass". So Kunesch run away and is gone. No .. my "friends" want to help me with Kunsch but they also disappeared after we throwed some dirt on the german mans house.

How can I solve the very first quest so?
