Cursor on screen?

My cursor is on the screen, bit off putting in combat XD

Anyway to turn off?

I got the same after alt tabbing out of the game. I assume it goes away after restarting or reloading, but I can't check right now since I can't save the game right now. Anyone know a solution if you have the mouse cursor when it shouldn't be there?

2. type: wh_ui_showcursor = 0

... but it switches back.

Also, could have googlebinged this forum threads. It was discussed like a 1000x in the last 2 hours.

I've seen this solution a few times before, but wasn't that about the circle in the middle of the screen? I don't want to get rid of the circle.

I just tested it, it only removes the circle cursor. But the mouse cursor still remains.

OH! My bad! You mean the cursor as in mouse cursor! Well ... I still have to try to unplug the mouse, to see if it would make it go away permanently.

You're right. This console command does NOT address THAT.

I got rid of it by
1) Unplugging Mouse
2) Press ESC on Keyboard (Open ESC Menu basically)
3) Plug Mouse back in

In my game when I open the map... Actually, I should mention I'm using an xbox360 wired controller first..

When I open the map, sometimes it's a yellow pointer-style mouse cursor which the right stick cannot move, sometimes it's the wee white X cursor that the stick can move.

Basically, the game's a shambles.

Just move the mouse cursor to the bottom left and don't move the mouse anymore. You won't be able to see it anymore.

If you have a controller plugged in when you start the game the cursor will be on the screen when you move the mouse... if you are playing with K&M then unplug the controller and restart the game.
