Just curious? 😊

Consoles are losing ground, however, the throne is slowly being retaken by the PC, and deservedly so. As there isn't a single game made with console in mind, that isn't dumbed down in one way or another. From controls to graphics to overal content - everything is limiting or substracting from what the exclusive PC version would have looked like.

Are you playing it on console?

Nope, watched streams and read impressions from people who have physical copies.

Even for non-exclusives,numbers are always higher on consoles.Take the COD series as an example.Even Nioh which was recently unexclusivized has more players on console than steam.

Well damn, most people that wanted Nioh already have bought it for ps4 and the port quality of the pc version of Nioh was not that good either.
Even with that setback of being a bad port it still ran better on equivelant hardware

This is not CoD tho. Consoles are so popular because they are cheaper and for more casual use and to be honest I don think that its a game for masses, just for that niche that like their games challenging. Its not about which platform sells most copies overall, its which platform has biggest target audience. Not to mention that Nioh port was butchered, like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of other

Yes it did, the pc version is far the best version of the game if you have the hardware to run it.

Tbh they are not even cheaper anymore, you can build a PC for cheaper, not atm because of the Mining but when that settles down PC can even be cheaper while running alot better, how times have changed

A PS4 priced PC could run it better, sad how dated those consoles are

Yet costs have been incurred in porting it over. This is why companies are reluctant to port over to PC or design with PC first in mind. The payoffs are just not worth it.Even GTA's publisher complained about how the PC version isn't raking in enough money:(

Do you not know what else affect the sales of pc versions of the games, we have too many good games already on the market and cant buy every new good game that comes around.

In comparison the console market is starved for some good games to buy.:steamfacepalm:
