Should I play with a keyboard or controller?
I wanna play with a keyboard but I feel like combat might be hard with a mouse and keyboard.

Playing with a controller is rarely a good idea in a 1st person game.

I played with both when I was playing the beta, and both are equally good in my opinion.

1 thing which is very difficult with controller is the lockpicking. Much more easier with keybord and mouse!

M&K is the superior tool if we make up the factor that this is a 1st person RPG. Finess, coordination and flexibility is much better.. You should only use a controller for sports/fighting games or your avg console made action rpg im0.

I play every FPS game I can on my PC with a controller... Its the primary deciding factor of what I choose to play.

And I'm probably better than you will ever be.

As for the rest of the opinions in this thread. is just screams... "I'm a mouse loving loser who couldn't get accustomed to a thumbstick... so I just talk ♥♥♥♥".

It is not a superior tool because of the genre. It is just a preference of people who spend more time worrying about needing to do split second 180's in a FPS because they have no team work skills.

I highly doubt that. There have been alot of study upon this and all study suggest that M&K is far superior.. ofc thats based on the premis that people are close to eachother in functionallity and IQ.. I could win over a monkey in a FPS while using the controller with my eyes closed, but that serves little to no point in the debate.

The fact is that M&K is better and the avg person will benefit from using it... New age gamer thinking will be the death of games like this one.

I'll probably still match or beat you in that... with a controller. You know why? Because I actually took the time to become proficient with a controller instead of crying about aim-assist and running back to playing Counter Strike with a mouse.

While you guys were all flocking to one singular FPS for the last 15 years. Consoles have actually been dominating the FPS market. Especially on the multiplayer fronts.

Go compare how many people are playing CoD on PC, vs CoD on just one of the consoles.
If controllers are not a good idea to play First Person games with. Explain Xbox and Playstation. Why is over half the content for consoles First Person games?

lol dream on pal. I would merc you and a server full of controller nubs. You don't know just how limited you are for doing the tricks, movement and aiming all at the same time. Your prefered antiquated handicap should have long left the minds of FPS gamers, well over a decade ago.

I own two Steam controllers a Speed Link Quinox and a 360 controller by the way. they have their role just not in FPS games.
